College Students Found To Have Less Empathy - Study

Can this be true that we have failed to teach empathy to this generation?
Hopefully, there are others like me that have made the decision to grow old and be the kind of person the younger generation wants to be around.  We do need to remember that we have overindulged this generation and these kiddos have very little tolerance for others that expect something of them. They don’t get the “Me” generation label for nothing.
So it is food for thought, parents.  Allow your student to work for the extras they have come to expect.  Expect them to give back to society in some way.  Withhold financial support of travel and entertainment that does not add anything to their resume.  Remember, it is okay to say “No! You can’t go!”
