Pruning Tools Really Matter In The Garden

Pruning tools are a great helper for gardeners in doing important works in the garden. They make a gardener’s work much easier and faster.
One of the pruning tools necessary in trimming any plants in the garden are long reach pruners and bypass hand pruners.
Long reach pruners are pruning tools with long handles to cut branches or stems that cannot easily be reached by hand. This type of tool comes with telescopic designs or with fixed long handles.
Telescoping units have light poles that can easily be maneuvered, which will make your cutting job more accurate. Some types have aluminum tilt neck that can turn up to 30 degrees with a dial nut that locks the neck. Instead of using a ladder, which is sometimes dangerous, use telescoping long reach pruners.
Fixed long reach pruners are lightweight with aluminum grips that are comfortable to use.
When using long reach pruners, make sure the blades are super sharp so you won’t exert much effort when cutting the branches or stems, lessening force on your hands while doing the job.
There are also long reach pruners with blades that can be interchanged to become telescopic and fixed but are still lightweight with strong and durable arm and comfortable handgrip to prevent fatigue to your hands.

Meanwhile, bypass hand pruners are pruning tools typically designed to trim branches that are less than one inch thick and are located within reach.

There are available hand pruners for roses, which are specifically designed to snip stems and comfortably remove thorns easier without harming your hands or fingers. Some pruners for roses are lightweight but can still cut due to its super sharp blades that are resistant to rust and sap since these are plated with chrome. The arms of rose pruners can be rotated in the handle to help you cut stems from any angle. The handgrips are also designed to be comfortable to the hands to prevent fatigue.

For higher branches, you may consider using hand pruners that can provide additional reach without the use of a ladder and still provide cleaner cut.
When buying pruning tools, choose those that have very sharp blades to produce clean cuts since this would help the plants heal easily. Choose also those that make a cut without exerting more effort to prevent fatigue to your hands and with

easy-open lock to protect the blade during transport and storage.
