Haus & Garten Hedge Shears The Best In The Market

Make your garden beautiful by regularly trimming all your plants. Regular trimming doesn’t only make
your plants look beautiful but they will also stay healthy, free from decayed or dead branches and stems.
When planning to trim your plants, make sure you have all the necessary trimming equipment since using
inappropriate tools might disfigure your plants and worse, would crush the stems or branches leading to
more dead branches.
Among the trimming equipment you have to buy are hedge shears.
Hedge shears, which are also called hedge or bush trimmers, are tools used in cutting hedges or
individual bushes. You may choose to buy hedge shears that are operated manually or through the use of
electricity or battery.
Hedge shears that are operated manually look like a large scissors. They also work like a pair of scissors,
though you need to exert a little pressure on the handle especially if you are cutting thicker stems or
branches. If you get annoyed with noise, then these types of hedge shears are perfect for you since these
don’t produce sounds, unlike those that are run by electricity or battery, and as such, are environment-
friendly.
If you choose this type of hedge shears, you may consider buying the traditional one when cutting stems
and light branches of up to 5/8 inches diameter. Just choose those with sharp high carbon steel blades
and rust-resistant coating and non-slip grips so you would still feel comfortable when cutting.
There are also hedge shears with extendable lightweight handles that extend up to 26 inches, perfect
for stems or branches that are slightly above your reach. The handles should still have non-slip and
comfortable grip to prevent scratches on your hands during cutting.
For hard-to-reach branches or stems, choose those hedge shears with telescoping handles that extend to
up to 31inches. Some types have serrated blade design that sharpens itself even during use.
If your plants are considered those of the delicate type, you may consider buying heavy duty onion and
sheep hedge shears, which are also used in shaving off sheep wool. Just be careful while using since this
can be so sharp.
If you find trimming your plants manually using hedge shears so tiring and time consuming, then use
motorized hedge shears for a much faster trimming job.
You may choose to buy hedge shears that run through the use of gasoline or electricity. Just don’t forget
to use ear protection since these machines can be so noisy and might affect your hearing.
Choosing which type of hedge shears all depend on you.
