Garden Hand Tools For A Better Garden

In every work that we do at home, sometimes we need helpers that would make our job easy and faster.
Just like when we do landscaping of our garden or are still in the process of putting up a garden, we need tools or equipment in doing the work.
In setting up a garden or beautifying the garden, we need garden hand tools, depending on the kind of work to be done.
Among the garden hand tools needed are trowels, weeders, small hand hoes, cultivators and small hand forks.
Trowels are the most common garden hand tools used for smaller work in the garden like planting, weeding and potting plants.
Trowels come in different shapes and sizes. Some have short and long, bulb handles with blades that are wide, narrow, big, small and pointed.
There are also trowels called as transplanters and diggers while others are shaped like tulips, hearts and spades. There are also trowels that are used for scooping soil.
Trowels are extremely useful in potting plants so they are designed with pointed scoops. Some even have built-in bottle openers and sharp edges that look like a big fork.
Hand weeders are also commonly used in the garden. As the name suggests, weeders are used to get rid of weeds that regularly grow in the garden.

For multiple works in the garden, you need hand hoes. This type of garden hand tools are used for digging, weeding, scooping soil and furrowing.
Hand hoes come in different shapes and sizes. Some are long, measuring at least 18 inches.

Meanwhile, hand cultivators are used to loosen soil and are good for removing weeds in the garden.
Cultivators are also commonly used in land preparation before planting.
Hand cultivators have 2 , 3 or 5 sharp tines, some of which are curve.
One important all-around tool that is also used in gardening is a hand fork, commonly used in planting, weeding, transplanting, mixing fertilizers or other additives into the soil, and aerating.
For some unexpected works in the garden, you might need a knife or dagger and hand rakes, some of which have up to six sharp tines.

Whatever garden work you do, you need these helpful garden hand tools to make the work easy and fast.
