Just less than 12 months after EllenDeGeneres bought the Malibu Home of Brad Pitt, she was reported for
quietly selling her home in June 2012. Basing from the records of her property,
it was listed on June 15 for $13 million.
Last December 2011, DeGeneres
purchased the Cliffside home for $12 million. She decided to sell the property
quietly to save it from the frenzy of real estate reporting.
The home seemed like a step down for
DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi. DeGeneres usually chooses homes that need
work. However, the home that she just purchased needs no more renovation
because for all intents and purposes, the grooming was already done by Pitt.
This might be the reason why DeGeneres was immediately disenchanted.
The 4,088-square-foot
Malibu home consists of 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. It is
located behind the Pacific Coast Highway, with private gates, and features
glass walls with sweeping views of the coastline, dark bamboo flooring, and a
modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and walk-in fridge
