Prepare for Graduating and Getting a Job

While searching the internet, I found yet another great site for young adults preparing to enter that competitive job market.  It is so easy to postpone thinking about, what happens after graduation.  From the beginning of the college experience, graduation and successful employment needs to be high on the list.  Unless our young adults do not need to be employed in the future, they should make sure there are jobs in their field of study or they need to be prepared for taking a entry level position or working in the service industry.
In my generation many of us started out by taking any job, because we needed a job.  Then over time, we worked our way into our field of study.  Just as others have done, I have waited tables, worked in department stores and answered telephones.  This current generation is not so inclined.  It is shocking for some, that they are not starting out with 6 figure incomes and corner offices!
My point is that students and who ever is paying for the education, should be looking at the “what next”. Can you get a job in the field of study the young adult has chosen?  What is the fall back plan upon graduation?  What can the graduate expect realistically?
Check this site out.  Share it with your college student.  Talk about what the plans are for after graduation.  The solution for many is graduate school. So my next question is “Then What?” .
